FAQs

How long does cremation take?

1

Most cremations are completed within 5–7 business days, depending on how quickly we receive required authorization and permits. If there is a delay (such as waiting on a physician to complete the death certificate), we will keep you informed and guide you through the next steps.

Do we have to come in?

2

No. In most cases, you do not need to come into our office. We can handle arrangements by phone, email, and electronic signature. If you prefer to meet in person, we’re happy to schedule an appointment—whatever feels most comfortable for you.

We’ll need some basic information about your loved one to complete the required paperwork and file the death certificate (such as personal details, family information, and other vital statistics).

To make this simple, we ask families to complete our Vital Statistics Form, which can be found in the Resources tab above.

How do we get death certificates?

4

We assist with the process from start to finish. Once the death certificate is filed with the county, you can request certified copies through us. Certified death certificates are often needed for insurance, banking, and legal matters, so we can help you determine how many to order.

Yes. You do not have to choose an urn right away. A standard temporary urn/container is included, and you may select an urn later whenever you’re ready. We can also help you with options for keepsakes, scattering, burial, or shipping.

Flameless Cremation

We also offer an alternative cremation package that involves a flameless cremation process through Alkaline Hydrolysis. This is the most eco-friendly option available.
